who you?

another new year be coming in another 5 more days. i bet you're starting to write your new year new resolutions. but, have you ever wonder, who do you want to be or who do you want to become?

am currently working as a sales and marketing post. obviously these two things is different and please do not try to argue with me both have the same job scopes like sales is marketing or vice verse.

never mind, that's not the point I'm writing today.

the very simple question "who are you?" are often ask whenever you go. people only able to remember you with a significant thing/ character/physical/bla bla bla... so does that mean we need to be unique in order for people to remember you? i must say the answer is a YES!!!

here's why...

at my sales position: obviously my task is to promote and proposed my products to the client. lucky enough my client are not the end users. so the problems with business to customers are less likely to happen. but there is a huge problem with people trying to recall your name. we meet hundreds and thousands of people in our lives and we only have this small little database in our brain. so what do you think? in order for people to remember you, you need to be different. it can be your dressing and/or the way you speak. we need to do something that can leave a deep remarkable impression so that people will remember you forever. (be thankful if  you happen to be one of those beauty pigeon)

at my marketing position: job scope will be strategy planning, presentations and marketing promotional activities. your name is the most important thing to let people know who you are! drop down your signatures on every slides of your presentation, bring your name cards into every event, write down your name whenever you drop your catalogue. yes, is a bit of hassle doing all this but it works! of course, all these has to come with a unique character. for this case, just be yourself!

so, do you know who you are now? bet you're still confused.
